TAIERI OTIS
TAIERI 0TIS is our main stud dog. He stole my heart as a puppy. He is beautiful both in looks and temperament. He is equally happy following me around the garden as he is curled up at my feet beside the fire. He has sired a number of litters to date and consistently produces puppies of outstanding temperaments, looks and health.

TAIERI DOUGLAS
TAIERI DOUGLAS is new to our crew. He is our up-and-coming stud dog and we are looking forward to seeing his puppies in the future. He is a back cross to a miniature poodle so his curly non-shedding coat will be a welcome addition to our breeding programme. He is a cheeky fella with a big personality. He recently joined our guardian programme and is now a much loved member of the Stout family in Dunedin. We are very grateful to them for taking such good care of him and welcoming him into their hearts.

TAIERI TIG
TAIERI TIG has a special place in our hearts as she was bred within our own breeding programme and, more importantly, is my eldest daughter Rosie’s dog. She is a very intelligent dog with a wonderful temperament. Her favourite activity is playing soccer in the back garden with Rosie. She is pretty good and does a surprisingly impressive dribble! Tig is an integral part of our breeding programme and has produced excellent puppies – two of which we have kept for our breeding programme.

TAIERI MAGIC
TAIERI MAGIC was our first spoodle and she was adopted as the family pet – along with her brother Taieri Otis. We chose her for her personality as, from very early on, it was clear that she was a highly sociable and intelligent wee girl. The breeder recommended that she would be a good fit for our family particularly as, at that stage, both my daughters were quite nervous around dogs. Whenever people meet Magic, they fall in love with her. We often say she is our best advertisement! She just loves to be busy and to be fussed over. She is a very gentle dog but also playful. Because of her wonderful nature and affinity with people, particularly with children, she currently works as a reading dog at our local primary school. If children are a little anxious or shy about reading aloud, Magic will sit beside them and, instead of reading to the teacher, they read to her. She also works with small groups and is a welcomed and calming presence in the classroom. Magic knows that when she has her special reading hoodie on it means she is off to work. She gets excited but also takes it very seriously!

TAIERI TILLY
TAIERI TILLY, like her sister Taieri Tig, was bred within our own breeding programme. She is a very intelligent and loyal girl and has been a wonderful part of our breeding programme. She is easy to train as she inherited the greedy gene from her mother Taieri Winnie! Tilly lives with her guardian family in Dunedin and is a much loved member of the McDonald family. We are looking forward to another litter of puppies from Tilly and Otis hopefully later in 2017.

TAIERI POPPY
Taieri POPPY is a special wee girl. She is a small sized miniature labradoodle. She is smaller than all of our spoodles except Magic. We chose her for our breeding programme based on her temperament, size and coat. She has the sweetest of natures with an endless abundance of energy. She is on the smaller end of spoodle size and has a lovely very low shedding wool coat. She lives with her guardian family in Dunedin and is much loved by all. We are very grateful to all the love and care given to Poppy by Lyn and her family. Last year, we were very proud to see Poppy complete her Canine Good Citizenship award as well as compete successfully in a number of dog obedience and rally-o competitions.

TAIERI EASY, along with her sister Echo, is part of our up-and-coming breeding programme. She comes from our own breeding line and so is particularly special to us. Her parents are our very own Taieri Otis and Taieri Tig so we know her line well! She has sailed through her DNA profiling and we are looking forward to hopefully seeing puppies from her and Taieri Douglas later in 2017r. She is currently living with her Guardian Family, the Merrimans, in Fairfield along with her halfsister Taieri Ivy.

TAIERI TIG’S ECHO
TAIERI ECHO, along with her sister EASY, is part of our up-and-coming breeding programme. Bred by us, her parents Taieri Otis and Taieri Tig are excellent examples of the Spoodle breed as she is too. She completed her DNA profiling earlier in 2016 and was clear for all genetic diseases screened for. We are excited about breeding her with Taieri Douglas later in 2017. Their puppies are sure to be stunning. She is currently living with her Guardian owner, Kirsten Cheyne, in Dunedin and is doing very well in her dog obedience classes and is currently working towards her Canine Good Citizenship award.

TAIERI WINNIE was brought into our breeding programme in 2013 specifically to enable us to start our own line of Spoodles. She produced the most amazing puppies, two of which we kept for our breeding programme: Taieri Tig and Taieri Tilly. She then had one further litter (this time with Otis) and after that was retired from our breeding programme. Winnie is happily spending her retirement with her guardian family in Dunedin and we are immensely grateful to the Carvalho family for looking after Winnie whilst she was in our breeding programme and now also in her retirement. She has quite the life and is a very happy dog!

TAIERI DAISY – RETIRED
TAIERI DAISY was one of our earlier breeding bitches. She has the gentlest of natures and, along with Otis, produced some amazing puppies. Whilst in the breeding programme, Daisy lived with her guardian family, John and Jane Field, out on the peninsular in Dunedin. She remains there now and is enjoying her retirement along with her son Stanley (also shown above). We are very grateful to John and Jane for all their care and love of Daisy. It is great knowing she is happily retired by the harbour.

TAIERI MUFFIN – RETIRED
TAIERI MUFFIN was our first breeding bitch. She was a wonderful mum and made being a first time breeder very easy for us. She had a lovely friendly disposition and was always eager to please. She had two beautiful litters with Otis before she retired. She now happily spends her days with her new family on a lifestyle block and, so I am told, likes to chase the odd rabbit or two in her spare time.
