“Our experience adopting a puppy from Katy was a very positive one. I started talking to her well before Betty was born and her openness and willingness to answer questions went a long way to reassure us she was a reputable breeder, given that we live in the North Island and were not able to visit her in Dunedin. We got our Betty in March and she is everything that Katy promised – cute as a button and very affectionate with both people and dogs. I would happily recommend Katy to anyone, and if we ever decide to get another spoodle or miniature labradoodle, she will definitely be our first port of call.“

Douglas and Lillian – Pam and Sue DeCaigney (Rotorua)

“We adopted our Spoodle, Douglas , from Katy 15 months ago now. There was a photo we just fell in love with. We rang Katy and she was more than helpful. 

We didn’t meet Douglas before hand as we live in Rotorua but we felt like we had as Katy sent updates frequently and we were able to contact her with any questions.

Douglas is now 15 months and he is just adorable. He is a little bigger than we expected at 17kgs. He has been a normal, fun and loving chap. He is everyone’s  friend and he is never mean. He just loves and lives to play.  We were so impressed we decided to get him a playmate and so we began the process all over again. Lillian is now 7 months and is 12kgs . She too is a healthy normal fun little girl. She is a little more discerning  in who her friends are but still is very social.

They are great apart and together. Quite mischievous  at times but full of character.

They don’t shed hair , what a bonus. And wet dog smell is a thing of the past.

The whole experience has been great and painless and would recommend  one or even two of Katy ‘s puppies.”

The information we received before Frankie came home was extremely helpful, and along with Katy’s hard work before our puppy got to us, meant her transition into our family was seamless. I was amazed when Frankie trotted outside to take herself to the toilet on her first day with us! Katy has kept in regular touch with us since April, and even emailed to see how Frankie was after she had her operation to be spayed, and has answered any questions I have had happily.
